Small Business Saturday® was founded in 2010 by American Express to help business owners with their most pressing need — getting more customers. Four years later, shoppers across the nation continue to rally in support of small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year, Small Business Saturday is Nov 29.

OddlyME is a local Brookhaven, Georgia business that promotes local shopping with customers’ photos of their favorote local retailers. We’re excited to rally the shops at Town Brookhaven to participate in this year’s Small Business Saturday celebration.

How will it work ? From 11 AM until 5 PM on November 29, 2014, participating locations will offer special promotions such as shop discounts, giveaways, refreshments and more. Many of the local restaurants will also offer a variety of discounts to patrons who show proof of purchase from one of the Town Brookhaven retail shops, services or salons. Just look for the “Shop Small” poster and venture in to find out how the business is participating.

Don’t forget to Download OddlyME to do a little window shopping before the day of the event. And feel free to add your own photos from your other favorite shops. Always shop and share!
