Sophia Academy host dad's breakfast with special speaker and dad, GSU Head Football Coach, Trent Miles

September 24, Sophia Academy hosted its annual "Dads' Breakfast" with Head Football Coach and parent Trent Miles as speaker.

September 24, Sophia Academy hosted its annual “Dads’ Breakfast” with Head Football Coach and parent Trent Miles with an inspirational talk for the dads as well as the traditional Chick Fil A chicken biscuit meal with dads and their children enjoying special time together.

Coach Miles emphasized his responsibilities as a good dad first, and that success in your job needs to start with that goal. He includes his family in all football activities and feels that is important to model to the young men on the team who will be learning how to be the fathers they are meant to be. He encouraged us all to be proud of our “teams” and described the experience of being the cheerleader day after day when the “wins” are not happening.

His inspiration as a coach and staff manager comes from memories of his own father first, and encouraged the men to keep that in mind—children are always watching.
