A popular Washington, DC, chef was shot and killed earlier this year in Historic Brookhaven.

ATLANTA -- Two men have been indicted in the July 2018 murder of a man outside the Capital City Club in Historic Brookhaven.
On Friday, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard, Jr., announced the grand jury indictment of Jayden Myrick, 18, and Torrus Fleetwood, 19, in the shooting death of Christian Broder.
Broder, a 34-year-old restaurant manager from Washington D.C., was robbed and shot in the stomach July 8 while waiting for an Uber ride after a wedding reception at Capital City Country Club. He died several days later.

Police say Broder was one of four people waiting for a ride at about 12:15 a.m. when a car pulled up and a man got out, pulled a handgun and demanded their belongings.
After stealing items from them, the gunman started heading back to his vehicle, but Broder tried to follow him. That's when the gunman fired once, striking Broder. He then got in the passenger side of the vehicle and the driver pulled away

Two juveniles, Kevan Reeves, 15, and Montavious Lovejoy, 15, were also indicted for their alleged roles. Both are expected to surrender to authorities on Thursday, Sept. 13, while Myrick and Fleetwood are being held in Fulton County jail without bond.
