Zoning Board To Learn More About Brookhaven Kroger's Expansion

The hearing is set for 1:00 pm at the Maloof Auditorium in Decatur.

Kroger is proposed a 25,000 square-foot expansion, and has requested several variances in Brookhaven's zoning regulations, according to the Reporter Newspapers.

At its May 9 hearing, the board gave Kroger 30 days to provide more details about landscaping and pedestrian access.

The renovation will include a new store front, new decor, upscale elements in service department and a walk-up pharmacy window. The new store size is estimated to 81,700 square feet.
