4 Shot, 1 Injured At Party In Cobb County After Fight
Three teens and two young adults were injured during a shooting after an argument started at a party, says Cobb County police.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Three teens and two young adults were injured and transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital over the weekend, according to Cobb County Police. Officers on the scene were dispatched to 1575 Ridenour Parkway in reference to a person shot, only to find multiple victims.
On Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at approximately 9:28 p.m. police arrived on the scene to find a 17-year-old juvenile male with a gunshot wound to his stomach, 18-year-old Leonard Cooper with a gunshot wound to his leg, 19-year-old Morgan Jackson with a gunshot wound to her shoulder, a 16-year-old juvenile female with a gunshot wound to her finger, and a 15-year-old juvenile female who sustained minor injuries from broken glass.
All victims were transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and no injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
According to police, a party with approximately 30 people was being hosted in one of the units of the apartment complex. An argument started between unknown parties and shots were fired.
No suspect information is available at this time.
