Arrests Made in "Buckhead Sniper" Case: Police
Two juveniles have been arrested in connection to the attacks on cars traveling along West Paces Ferry Road.

Atlanta police believe they have captured the people responsible for shooting rifle pellets at cars traveling on a busy artery in Buckhead.
Police spokesman Ralph Woolfolk tells Patch that the investigation into the ”Buckhead Sniper” incidents has led to the arrest of two juveniles. Woolfolk was not authorized to release any further information on the investigation, the arrests, or the ages of the suspects.
The suspects reportedly hid out in the woods adjacent to West Paces Ferry Road and took pot shots at passing cars with an air rifle. Far from a simple nuisance, pellets can smash through automotive glass and severely damage a vehicle or injure its occupants.

One person CBS Atlanta spoke to in early January had her car damaged by pellets, but she didn’t realize she was being shot at until she discovered several other cars with the same broken glass. The woman said that one of the other cars was carrying a family of eight, including four children, at the time it was struck.
