Wasted Commute Time: Atlanta is No. 9
Atlanta is No. 9 in terms of average wasted time per commuter in 2015, according to a new report from Inrix, a transportation analytics firm.
Los Angeles is No. 1, according to the survey from the Kirkland, WA-based firm. Commuters in Atlanta wasted 59 hours in traffic in 2015. >>> Read more.

Gator Safety: Part of Chattahoochee Trail Closed
Portions of the Chattahoochee River Recreation area have been temporarily closed to protect a large alligator that's been spotted recently.
The alligator is 6 to 8 feet long, and reportedly may have once been someone's pet. The gator was first spotted around the Cochran Shoals area near I-285 a few weeks ago, but park rangers say it's been in the area for about 10 years. >>> Read more.
