Bank Robbed Near Buckhead, Police Seek Suspect

The suspect made off with $150, according to police.

Atlanta police are looking for a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo near Buckhead on Tuesday,

A man walked into the bank at 2349 Cheshire Bridge Road and told a teller on duty that he wanted to make a withdrawal, police said. He then handed the teller a note claiming that he was armed and demanding $100.50. The teller gave him $150 and he fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a 40 to 50 year old heavyset black male who stands 5’10” to 6’2” tall. He has a dark complexion and a thick mustache. He was last seen wearing a bubble type black jacket and bulk jeans.
