Bank's mortgage division continues rapid growth

Carl F. Robins focuses on common-sense mortgage solutions

Private Mortgage Solutions, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Carl F. Robins Vice President and Mortgage Banker. With over 10 years of mortgage origination experience, he specializes in providing a common-sense approach to home mortgages.

“Carl is adept at helping recover the value borrowers may have experienced during a challenging period in the economy by helping them build equity, for instance, through term reduction or better rates,” says Dan Smith, President of Private Mortgage Solutions. 

Prior to joining Private Mortgage Solutions, he was a Mortgage Loan Originator with BrightPath Mortgage, a Senior Loan Originator with Lenox Financial Mortgage, and a Branch Manager and Loan Officer at Hometown Equity Mortgage. Before getting into the mortgage industry he worked for IBM for 19 years, where he held technical, sales and managerial positions. 

“I truly enjoy helping clients with their home financing needs, especially when they are buying a new home,” Robins says. “I strive to help borrowers focus on opportunities that best fit their needs.”

Originally from Kansas City, Mo., he moved to Atlanta in 2003 to manage a mortgage company branch. He resides in Villa Rica with his wife and is the proud father of three great children. Two are graduates of the University of Missouri and Duke and the third is a freshman at Georgia Tech.  Away from work, Robins loves to spend time with his grandkids and play golf as often as possible.
