ATLANTA – July 22, 2021 -- For the 27th consecutive year, the Buckhead Coalition is donating its advertising proceeds from the Buckhead Guidebook to local community groups to support their work in Buckhead and across Atlanta. Buckhead Christian Ministry, Buckhead Heritage Society and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta are the recipients of a $3,000 contribution from the Coalition. This donation brings the Coalition’s total Buckhead Guidebook nonprofit contributions to $167,500.

“Buckhead Christian Ministry, Buckhead Heritage Society and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta are doing important work in our community, and the Buckhead Coalition is proud to support them with this donation,” said Jim Durrett, president of the Buckhead Coalition.

Through this donation, the Coalition aims to help Buckhead Christian Ministry work with clients who are at risk of becoming homeless by elevating their possibilities for economic empowerment, support the Buckhead Heritage Society in its historic preservation efforts and aid the Urban League of Greater Atlanta in preparing and coaching African Americans for economic success.
