Here are the top three stories today in Buckhead:

1. The Atlanta Fire Department was able to put out a fire at Buckhead Saloon hours after it broke out on Monday. The Battalion Fire Chief stated in an interview that the fire would be under investigation for some time. As of now, officials have yet to give a cause for the fire. (Free: 11Alive.com WXIA)
2. A nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, Charlie Bailey, was charged with a DUI in 2011. A recent report revealed that Bailey was arrested on May 5th, 2011. The arresting officer, Kelly Christian, stated that Bailey was visibly nervous when he was pulled over. (Free: FOX Atlanta)
3. The Peachtree Road United Methodist Church has the goal to demolish a Buckhead Forest-based house at 3210 West Shadowlawn Avenue, a property which is a part of the National Register of Historic Places.
