Buford’s dining scene is about to get a little tastier as Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood tavern, Marlow’s Tavern, opens on Tuesday, September 9. The restaurant will offer its famous dishes and handcrafted cocktails at one of Georgia’s busiest shopping attractions. The Buford, Ga., location will offer Mall of Georgia shoppers and neighbors a delicious dining and drinking alternative.

“It’s very exciting for us to open our next Marlow’s Tavern in such a prominent and bustling city like Buford,” says John C. Metz, executive chef and co-founder. “Our team is always looking for great neighborhoods to become part of with Marlow’s Tavern. Marlow’s signature menu, created by Metz, continues to highlight favorites on the multi-part menu including: Start, Snack, Share; Crisp, Cool Salads; Tavern Favorites; Classic Tavern Burgers; Big Bar Sandwiches; Kids’ Fun Foods; and Sweet Stuff. The menu offers dishes made with the freshest ingredients, including the best local and seasonal items when available. Buford guests can be excited to taste fan favorites including the “infamous” fish tacos as well as the shrimp and crab nacho plate.

In addition to the restaurant’s regular food menus, Marlow’s Tavern in Buford also features a renowned beverage menu that includes wines from around the world with a variety of unique grapes and prices available by the glass or bottle. Beer connoisseurs will enjoy the selection of draft, bottled and canned selections including local, craft brews as well as national favorites. The signature handcrafted cocktails, or “soon to be classic” crafted cocktails menu is a crowd pleaser with drinks made of fresh fruit juices, house-made simple syrups, fresh herbs and the use of small batch liquors.

The new location of Marlow’s includes a spacious design that accommodates a total of 150 seats in the interior and outside patio dining areas. Marlow’s will have flat-screen televisions will adorn the area for optimal sports and television viewing while dining, and the climate controlled outside patio for diners’ comfort. The new Marlow’s location is next to the movie theater, specifically located in the Big Pavilion Courtyard next to Cheesecake Factory.
