Cook Hall Introduces Family Meal Menu

Cook Hall Creates Sunday Night Experience Centered Around Family-Style Service

Staff Report

Starting September 28th, Buckhead’s favorite gastropub, Cook Hall, will be inviting guests to ‘Family Meal’ each Sunday evening beginning at 4 p.m. This coveted daily ritual among servers, chefs, managers and kitchen staff in thousands of restaurants across the country includes a spread of chef favorites and seasonal plates. For $26, Cook Hall guests can expect a changing menu that dismisses monotony and remains true to the industry-centric idea of Family Meal.

The four course family dinner includes plates from starters to desserts. The first two plates will be served family-style and feature a snack like grilled flat bread topped with a ricotta spread drizzled in lemon-honey syrup and anarugula salad mixed with in-house pickled vegetables, enoki and black truffle vinaigrette. The entrée course offers protein choices including a half-roasted rosemary chicken garnished with charred lemon or a slow roasted snapper topped with tamarind tomato vinaigrette. For vegetarian guests, there will always be a pasta option available. Desserts range from rich ganache to banana cream pie.

“Family Meal is sacred to those in the [restaurant] industry. It’s a time to bond, socialize and unwind,” says executive chef David Gross. “We wanted our guests to be given the opportunity to step into our world and experience this long-standing tradition.”

Cook Hall was built on the idea of creating an unassuming gathering place where the kitchen meets the community, and Family Meal every Sunday is the gateway to this concept.
