Developers Pitch Plan for Buckhead Village Apartment Tower

A development team will try to sell Buckhead officials on their idea to build a multi-story residential tower in the Buckhead Village area on Wednesday, Atlanta Business Chronicle says.

Terwilliger Pappas has their eyes on plots of land located at 2965-2975 Peachtree Rd., steps from the billion-dollar Buckhead Atlanta mixed-use development, the Chronicle reports. If the developers’ plans are realized, a nearly 20-story residential tower will be built on the site.

The Buckhead Village area has become the focal point of development in the area in recent months. A recent panel of developers declared that available land in the business district is mostly gone, so new projects are being planned in the Village.

Apart from the Terwilliger Pappas proposal, developers The Hanover Co. have announced plans to build a 22-story residential tower adjacent to the Buckhead Theatre. This plan, however, has encountered resistance due to a legacy agreement between the current landowners and a third party.
