Driver Who Killed Boy, 9, Will Go On Trial: Prosecutors
A Fulton County grand jury indicts local man for homicide by vehicle, driving under influence of heroin, other charges.

A local man faces up to 32 years in prison on charges that his car struck three Atlanta children, killing one, while he was behind the wheel and high on heroin, according to Fulton County prosecutors.
A Fulton grand jury indicted Ryan Lisabeth, 28, on charges of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, possession of heroin, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and related charges, Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr. announced Friday.
The charges stem from an April 15 collision; the grand jury alleged that Lisabeth was high on heroin and speeding on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in Northwest Atlanta when his vehicle hit the three boys.

Nine-year-old Isaiah Ward died from his injuries, and his older brother, Roland, suffered a broken pelvis and broken leg, according to a statement from Howard's office. The other victim, 13-year-old Timothy Hood, a friend of the Ward brothers, is recovering from two skull fractures and a broken leg, prosecutors said.
The prosecutors did not indicate when Lisabeth will go on trial. If found guilty of all charges, he could be sentenced to a maximum of 32 years in prison.
