Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant is throwing a 1980s-themed party on Saturday, July 30 to raise funds for the Atlanta Chapter of Team in Training in order to help find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. Top tunes from the ‘80s will be playing while the bar at Fadó turns out classic ‘80s cocktails like the Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian. These cocktails will be specially priced at $5 apiece for the ladies. Guests are encouraged to wear ‘80s attire and donate to Team in Training during the event, and the pub will provide ‘80s accessories such as slap bracelets and candy necklaces for partygoers to enhance their costumes. The party will also include a costume contest with a $100 prize donated by Fadó to the winner, raffle (donations requested for participation) and silent auction to benefit the Atlanta members of Team in Training. A DJ will start spinning more 80s tracks beginning at 10:30 p.m. to keep the party going.
