September Wine Dinner

On Thursday, September 27, Woodfire Grill is hosting a wine dinner with Bodegas Alvear of Montilla-Moriles in southern Spain. The restaurant’s wine director, Nicolas Quinones, and sommelier, Catherine Hatch have partnered with the Spanish winery to serve a five-course meal paired with five different sherries from the family that pioneered the development of sherry in Spain. The evening will begin with a reception at 6 p.m. featuring Cava, followed by a five-course dinner paired with five different wines at 6:30 p.m. The Alvear family has been in the Montilla-Moriles region since 1729, and their delicious wines range from bone dry to sweet and are incredibly food friendly. Cost for the dinner is $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited to 20 guests, so reservations are required. Guests can call 404-347-9055 to reserve a spot.
