Five Georgia Cities Rank Among 100 Most Sexually Diseased in U.S.

Five Georgia cities have been ranked among the 100 most sexually diseased municipalities in the United States.

Columbus has Georgia’s highest rate of sexually transmitted diseases, according to the Times Free Press. Albany is No. 51 on the list, followed by Macon at No. 54; Augusta at 57th; and Valdosta at No. 87.

Montgomery, AL, is the nation’s most sexually diseased city.

The rankings use 2013 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that was compiled by rent-application.com.

The study reflects reports of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia. Rates were measured per 100,000 people, and cities with a significant amount of population were chosen.
