🌱 Garden Hills Shopping Center Retail To Be Replaced By Office Spaces

Here are the top stories today in Buckhead:
- Highwoods Properties and Brand Properties will build a 135,000 square-foot office building at 2827 Peachtree Road in Garden Hills neighborhood of Buckhead. The site has been fenced-off and left vacant for over seven years, however, office floorplates for the edifice will ve 27,500 square feet with 10 executive suites, and 1,500 square feet of retail stores at street level with 11,000 square feet for two restaurants. The site is the one-time location of the now-defunct Garden Hills Shopping Center, which was rendered unusable after a fire in 2013. (Free: Urbanize Atlanta)
- Emily Giffin's Buckhead state drops in price to $7.85M .(The Business Journals)
- The Flexible Levels, Options, & Affordable Terms (FLOAT) Initiative Program assists single family residences with past due water utility balances. Department of Water Management representatives will be at Buckhead Library from Monday, September 26th to Friday, September 30th to assist customers who may need it.
