Residents Favor 'World Class' Park in Heart of Buckhead: Report
The responses have come in a survey conducted by Buckhead Redefined, an initiative by five civic groups.

ATLANTA, GA β The designs for a "world class" park proposed to be built in the heart of Buckhead's commercial core have drawn positive reviews in a recent survey, according to a media report.
The survey found that 82 percent of respondents either "like or love" the design concepts for Park over GA400, reported Curbed Atlanta, a website that covers commercial and residential development in the region.
In a public meeting in September, the Buckhead Community Improvement District (CID) looked over a presentation for the proposed park, which would be built over Georgia Highway 400 near Lenox Square, Curbed Atlanta reported.

"The initial design has three distinct zones: the Commons, the Plaza, and the Gardens," with each zone accommodating a variety of activities, Curbed Atlanta says. "The nearly half-mile-long park could feature lawns and pavilions, too."
The CID has touted the proposed park as a "world class" open space that could shape Buckhead's identity, much like Central Park in New York.
