Sketch Released Of Man Wanted For Buckhead Assault
Police say the man posed as an Uber driver when he attacked a young woman leaving a Buckhead bar.
ATLANTA, GA — Police have released a sketch of a man who they say picked up a woman from a Buckhead bar and then sexually assaulted her.
Police say the man was posing as an Uber driver.
The attack took place on August 13. The woman told police she was leaving the Park Bench pub on Irby Avenue at 2:30 am after spending the evening with a group of high school friends. She called Uber for a ride home, but the driver allegedly took the woman to Chastain Park where he attacked her.

The victim managed to scratch her attacker's face, and he then pushed the woman out of the car near the Galloway School on Wieuca Road.

Atlanta police also released a video showing the car, a silver sedan, heading down West Wieuca Road.
Uber has confirmed that the man is not a driver for the company.
