Eats & Beats, the one of a kind event that combines great food, terrific libations and the best foodie silent auction in Atlanta, is back on Monday, May 19. The event will have live music from the local favorite, Yacht Rock and some of the hottest local chef bands. Eats & Beats will take place at The Buckhead Theatre from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Children of Conservation and The Giving Kitchen.
Eats & Beats features tastings from many of Atlanta’s top restaurants, including Local Three, King + Duke, Cook Hall, Kimball House, Barcelona Wine Bar, 4th & Swift, Common Quarter, Cibo e Beve, Leon’s Full Service, Smash, Muss& Turners, Farmburger, Smokebelly BBQ, Big Ketch, Einstien’s, Davios, Lobby, Epic Events and Dennis Dean Catering. Multiple open bars will be available in the theatre so attendees won’t have to miss singing along as Yacht Rock covers the Beatles.

Attendees can take a break from the food to bid on unique silent auction items, including a local chef showdown at Local Three where multiple chefs battle it out over six courses with wine or cocktail pairings for 10 people; a custom chef dinner party for 10 with pairings from Dantanna’s; a four course dinner for eight with pairings prepared by Jay Swift at 4th & Swift; a lunch for 10 prepared by Hugh Acheson at the Empire State South Bocce Court; a cocktail party for 15 at Cook Hall, a dinner party at Ruth’s Chris, and multiple other chef’s tables and experiences, as well as luxurious vacation homes, African masks and statues, and original paintings by orphaned gorillas and chimpanzees in Africa.

General admission costs $70 and includes food tastings, alcohol and the concert. VIP admission costs $150 (limited to 200 tickets) and includes early entry at 6 p.m. plus restricted access to upstairs suites and balcony area with exclusive access to restaurants like Barcelona Wine Bar, 4th & Swift, Lobby and Epic Events. VIP will include wine pairings for the items served, multiple seating/dining areas, and an exclusive musical performance by Joe Truex of Watershed before Yacht Rock takes the stage. Group ticket packages are also available. Children of Conservation is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to the conservation and protection of endangered animals in third world countries through education, habitat preservation and wildlife sanctuary support.
