Uber Soon Launching Scheduled Rides in Atlanta
The service has been up and running in Seattle, and is moving into other cities.

Uber's Scheduled Rides service will soon be rolling out in Atlanta.
The company announced that the service, which has been up and running in Seattle since June, will be rolling out into other cities, including Atlanta. No specific time period was announced.

- Select uberX and tap “Schedule a Ride.”
- Set pickup date, time, location, and destination.
- Confirm the details of the upcoming trip and tap “Schedule uberX.” Users can cancel at anytime before their ride is on the way.
- Reminders both 24 hours and 30 minutes will be sent in advance of the pickup, as well as notifications when the ride in on the way.
The company is giving priority access to riders who have Business Profiles or are linked to their company’s Uber for Business account.
Users can visit action.uber.org/scheduled-rides to become among the first users of the service when it rolls out in Atlanta.
