What your ungroomed FB page says about you...

I host a very large group of Foodies, and have done so for many years.  In my role as organizer, I am constantly on the search for interesting restaurants to visit, including the new must-eat-at venues as well as the diamonds in the rough.  My first stop.  The FB page.  This is where I'm going to find interesting updates, news on upcoming events, and most importantly, pictures. Mouthwatering, tempting photos in all of their deliciousness, enveloping me with the promise of exquisite flavors and aromas.  The pictures that will make me reach for the phone and make a reservation.  When I see an updated FB page for a restaurant, it's an admission of pride.  It shows that the restaurant cares.  Whether that is indeed true or not is arguable.  But my perception is that this is a place I want to try at least.  On the other hand, if the page isn't updated, and hasn't been for a while, it is like having a "closed" sign written on the door. It leaves me with a bad impression of your entire venue.  And I move on...
