3 Students Awarded Cartersville Medical Center Scholarships
The three were recently presented their scholarships at an Auxiliary meeting at Cartersville Medical Center.
From Cartersville Medical Center: Jessica Dunn, RN, Jackson Collier and Elizabeth Woodall have each been named recipients of $2,000 Cartersville Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarships to assist with pursuing their medical education.
Awarded annually, students who receive the scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Full-time student
- Be a relative of a CMC employee or volunteer
- 3.0 GPA
- Plan to pursue a career in the medical field
Dunn, a registered nurse on the perinatal services unit at Cartersville Medical Center and also a participant in the Nurse Residency Program, plans to pursue a master’s degree.

Collier, a 2018 graduate of Cartersville High School, will attend Mercer University and study biomedical engineering.
Woodall, also a 2018 graduate of Cartersville High School, will attend the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega where she will major in Nursing, with plans to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
