Cartersville July 4th Parade, Fireworks: 2018 Guide
The Rotary Club of Etowah will host the annual event on Wednesday, July 4 in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Residents in and around Cartersville will have a chance to celebrate Independence Day on Wednesday with their family and friends. The Rotary Club of Etowah is putting the final touches on its annual 4th of July celebration in Cartersville.
The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. July 4 with a parade making its way through downtown Cartersville. Marchers will begin their route in the parking lot of Tabernacle Baptist Church located along Douglas Street.
Parade participants will then turn left on Douglas Street, right on Church Street, left on Bartow Street, left on Main Street, left on Stonewall Street, left on Church Street and turn right on Douglas Street where marchers will end at the church.

If the parade isn't enough, head on over to Dellinger Park at 2 p.m. for a slew of activities, including arts, crafts, music and a fireworks show. Admission is free, but parking is $5 per vehicle. Food and crafts will be available for purchase.
Music will be provided by Scott Thompson from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the Peachtree Station Band from 8-9:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at dusk. Proceeds from the event will be donated to support local non-profit organizations in the community.

If you're worried about the weather, you should know that there's a chance for thunderstorms every day this week, according to the National Weather Service. On Wednesday, a 30 percent chance for rain kicks in at about 9 a.m. and lasts all day. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny, with highs near 90 degrees90 degrees. We'll have that same 30 percent chance after dark, so keep an eye on the latest forecasts before heading out to enjoy the fireworks shows in the metro Atlanta area.
