Bartow History Museum Hosts Evening Tour
'An Evening in Oak Hill Cemetery' will be conducted on Saturday, September 24 in downtown Cartersville.

Cartersville, GA - The Bartow History Museum and Stage Works, Inc. invite you to join us for a tour of historic Oak Hill Cemetery, located in Cartersville. The tour will take place on Saturday, September 24. Through costumed interpreters, tour participants will meet a variety of people from Bartow's past including a U.S. General Attorney, an insurance solicitor, and a druggist. As part of the tour, guides will also share historical information about the cemetery and interesting details about the markers.
This is a walking tour and requires walking on concrete, grass, and small inclines. Please wear comfortable shoes. The tour will last approximately 1 hour. "An Evening in Oak Hill Cemetery" is a sponsored by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Ticket prices for this event are $15 for Bartow History Museum members and $20 for no-yet-members. Tickets must be purchased in advance here, at the museum gift shop located at 4 East Church Street, in downtown Cartersville, or by calling 770-387-2774. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis.
