BBQ Boogie & Blues Festival Set For April 28-29 in Calhoun
Bring the whole family and a big appetite for the 6th annual BBQ Boogie & Blues Festival.

The festival will be held in Downtown Calhoun, Georgia on Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29, 2017. In addition to the event hosting dozens of professional teams for a nationally-sanctioned KCBS BBQ competition, there are many activities that are sure to provide fun for adults and kids alike.
BBQ Boogie & Blues is a locally sponsored event and free for all ages. As if mouth-watering ‘que wasn’t alluring enough, the festival will also have arts and crafts vendors, a backyard grilling competition, and an antique car cruise-in. Let the kids play in the “kid zone,” complete with inflatables and face-painting. For the over 21 crowd, there is beer and wine garden selling a variety of spirits. There are also food vendors on site including some of the contest participants.

Friday night, country-rock outfit The Kurt Thomas Band will take the stage and the Fly Betty Band will close out the festival on Saturday with some classic party hits.
