Body Found Hanging From Bridge in Bartow County
Euharlee police say the body was attached to an old bridge structure over the Etowah River.
Euharlee, GA — Police are investigating the grim discovery Tuesday afternoon of a man's body found hanging from a bridge in Bartow County.
Officers with the Euharlee Police Department and crews from Bartow County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the call around 4 p.m. June 28 on Old Milam Bridge Road.
Police Chief Mitchell Whitehead said the body was attached to an old bridge structure over the Etowah River.

Authorities identified the man as 46-year-old Jimmy Russell Brock Jr., a white male whose last known city of residence was Kingston.
"With the information we have obtained, to this point, it appears to be a suicide," Mitchell said. "We will, of course be, waiting on the medical examiner’s findings to further determine (the) case status."
