Boy, 2, Drowns In Bartow County
The child was transported to Cartersville Medical Center where he did not respond to treatment.
EUHARLEE, GA -- A toddler has been pronounced dead after he was pulled from a pool Monday in Bartow County.
Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to a call of a possible drowning at a private residence on Winchester Drive in Euharlee. Crews arrived to find a two-year-old boy unconscious and unresponsive.
Emergency medical personnel "quickly continued CPR and started advanced life support treatment," said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.

Cothran said the child was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
However, nurses and doctors continued advanced life support measures, but the boy did not respond to treatment and died at the hospital, Cothran added.
