A toddler has been transported to the hospital following an accident in which he was hit by an off-road utility vehicle.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded Saturday morning to a call of a three-year-old boy who was "accidentally" struck by a UTV at Woodland High School on Old Alabama Road in unincorporated Cartesrville, said spokesperson Brad Cothran.
The child was alert upon arrival, but had "tire marks near the abdominal area," Cothran added.
