Investigators with the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office in May 2013 discovered human remains on farming property near Kingston, which were identified as belonging to McIntyre, who was reported missing by his family.
Detectives arrested Poston in June 2013 and later arrested Kingston resident Phillip Jared Martin in connection to the case.
Martin’s case is still pending and is expected to be placed on Judge Nelson’s Feb. 15 Jury Trial calendar, the district attorney’s office said.
