Cartersville Voters Head To The Polls On Tuesday

Voters will cast ballots in only 1 contested race -- the Ward 6 City Council seat -- and the proposed E-SPLOST renewal.

Voters in the city of Cartersville will go to the polls on Tuesday to have their say on the only contested race on the Nov. 3 ballot.

Incumbent Lori Pruitt will face off against attorney Taff Wren to represent Ward 6 on the Cartersville City Council. Pruitt has held the seat since 2003.

Voters in the city as well throughout Bartow County will also decide whether to renew the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, as proposed by both the Cartersville City and Bartow County school systems.

Polls will be open in the city from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. To see if you’re registered to vote, or for more information on your specific precinct, click here.
