Cici’s Pizza, which is located at 240 Cherokee Place in Cartersville, scored a 96, or A, on its Aug. 6 inspection. The restaurant previously failed its July 28 inspection with a 68, or U.
The inspector from the Bartow County Environmental Health Department noted the following on the Aug. 6 report:

- As observed on previous inspection, observed food contact surfaces (pans) encrusted with excessive grease and/or soil deposits. Corrective action: discussed with person in charge to deep clean and to clean food contact surface or discard pans.
- Discussed with PIC to store the ice bucket inverted. Follow up to check two cold holding units.
Another follow-up inspection will be held Aug. 21.
