Election Day: What Cartersville, Bartow Citizens Need To Know
Residents will cast ballots in the sheriff, sole county commissioner, U.S. Congress and chief magistrate judge races.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Voters in Bartow County will have no shortage of races and questions on the ballot when they head to the polls on Tuesday.
That's because the May 24 primary and special election will take place, and (hopefully) thousands of citizens will turn out to make their opinions known on key races in the area.
Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters are reminded to bring photo identification with them in order to take part in the democratic process.

There are two changes residents who are assigned to the White and Woodland precincts should know before they vote on Tuesday.
The Bartow County Board of Elections and Voter Registration has rolled out new Election Day polling places for the aforementioned precincts.

Residents who vote at the White Fire Department will now cast their ballots at White United Methodist Church, which is located at 3411 Highway 411 NE in White.
The Woodland precinct has been moved from Woodland High School Performing Arts Center to Creekside Fellowship Church at 585 Old Alabama Road SE in Cartersville.
Voters in the county will decide on several key local, state and national races, including sole commissioner, sheriff, district attorney, chief magistrate court judge, state senator and state representative, U.S. representative for Georgia's 11th Congressional District and U.S. senator.
