FBI Offers Reward In Heather McDonald Case

The Cartersville woman, who has been missing for more than a month, was last seen in the area of US-411 and I-75.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Law enforcement officials are stepping up their campaign to help find a Cartersville woman who has been missing for more than a month.

The FBI's Atlanta Field Office, as well as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation continue to plead with the public to help them locate Heather Dianne McDonald, 27, who was last seen Sept. 18 in Cartersville.

The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the "recovery of Heather Dianne McDonald and/or the identification which leads to the conviction of those involved in her disappearance," the agency said Friday.

McDonald was last seen in the area of US-411 and I-75 in Cartersville around 7 p.m. Sept. 18.

McDonald was last seen wearing yoga pants and a tank top. Her vehicle, a red Jeep Wrangler, was located in the parking lot of the Courtesy Inn at 2335 US-411 the morning of Sept. 19. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys and McDonald's belongings were still inside.

McDonald is described as a white female, about 5'2" tall, 105 pounds, with brown eyes and wavy, shoulder length brown hair.
