Georgia Highlands Recognized For Reducing Energy

The school, which has a campus in Cartersville, was recognized for fulfilling the Georgia Energy Challenge.

Georgia Highlands College’s Floyd and Cartersville campuses were recognized as fulfilling the Georgia Energy Challenge by achieving at least a 15 percent reduction in energy use.

The challenge helps state agencies with tracking and saving energy related costs.

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, through the Georgia Energy Challenge, administers programs that provide financial assistance and other support services to state agencies working to save energy and money.
