Kroger Seeks To Hire 150 Employees in Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Next week, the Georgia Department of Labor's Cartersville Career Center will help Kroger recruit more than 100 employees to work at its new store in the city.

The store, which is set to open Oct. 5, wants to hire 150 full-time and part-time workers. The recruitment fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the career center located at 19 Felton Place.

The employer is recruiting for multiple departments:

• Front end: baggers, cashiers and self-checkout,
• New service: ClickList used for online shopping,
• Perishable: dairy, deli, floral, frozen, meats and produce,
• Specialty: cake decorating, fuel center, pharmacy techs, wine, Starbucks coffee and
• Stocking.

Applicants must be able to work various shifts within the store’s hours of operation, which are from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week. Salaries depend on the position and experience, and applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
