Man Airlifted After 4-Vehicle Crash In Cartersville
The Georgia State Patrol said the driver of a truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided with three vehicles.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Two people were injured Thursday evening in a four-vehicle crash on Burnt Hickory Road in Cartersville. Law enforcement and Bartow County EMS crews responded to the crash around 7:18 p.m. Dec. 14 just north of Sugar Valley Road.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 1998 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on Burnt Hickory Road while a 2017 Toyota Tacoma was going northbound. A 2009 BMW 328i was following the Tacoma while a 2004 Honda Accord was following the BMW.
A preliminary investigation conducted by troopers shows the driver of the Ford failed to maintain its lane of travel when he veered into the northbound lane and struck the driver side mirror of the Toyota pickup truck driven by Samuel David Young, 27, of Cartersville, the agency said.
