Man Ejected From Vehicle Flees Accident Scene

Another person was transported to Floyd Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained in the rollover crash.

KINGSTON, GA -- A single-vehicle, rollover accident sent one man to an area hospital, and police are on the hunt for a second person who fled the scene at the time of the crash.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded Thursday afternoon to the crash on U.S. 411 near Reynolds Bridge Road southwest of Kingston. Crews with the agency arrived on the scene to find one male patient inside the vehicle with "numerous trauma injuries and (a) possible head injury," said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.

The victim was treated at the scene, and transported to Floyd Medical Center for follow-up care.

A second patient inside the vehicle was ejected in the crash, and Cothran said he ran from the scene before first responders arrived to assist.
