Police Seek To Identify Adairsville Shooting Suspect
The victim is in critical condition, and police are looking for a man and woman connected to the shooting.
ADAIRSVILLE, GA — A Florida man is in critical condition after he was found shot early Monday morning inside a truck at a convenience store. Officers with the Adairsville Police Department responded to the shooting around 2:30 a.m. May 7 and found the victim inside his vehicle at QuikTrip at 961 Highway 140 NW.
The victim, identified by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation as Jonathan Michael Meyer, 30, of Clearwater, Florida, was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
Both the GBI and Adairsville police are looking for a male suspect and a woman, whom police believe is a witness to the incident. The man was wearing a light-colored T-shirt, a dark backpack and dark ball cap. Following the shooting, the man got into a late 1990s four door Toyota sedan, possibly a Camry.

The white female, who is a witness and could possibly identify the suspect, is seen wearing a camouflage T-shirt. She also has a distinguishable mark or bruise on the inside of her left thigh above the knee, the GBI states.
