WHITE, GA -- A man was injured late Thursday evening at Toyo Tire in Bartow County while on the job. Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the industrial accident around 10:20 p.m. at the facility on U.S. 411 in White. A male patient was found with "numerous trauma injuries due to a piece of equipment that struck the patient," said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.A medical helicopter was requested, and the man was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for treatment. ---Image via Shutterstock

WHITE, GA -- A man was injured late Thursday evening at Toyo Tire in Bartow County while on the job.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the industrial accident around 10:20 p.m. at the facility on U.S. 411 in White. A male patient was found with "numerous trauma injuries due to a piece of equipment that struck the patient," said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.
