• Cobb Police shoot and kill armed suspect after traffic stop (eastcobbnews.com) — Cobb Police say a 43-year-old man from Austell was killed after allegedly firing a weapon at officers during a late-night traffic stop near Osborne High School. Investigators report the driver crashed, barricaded himself in his SUV, and was later shot when he reportedly displayed a gun, with the GBI now reviewing the case for the Cobb District Attorney.
