Man Suffers 2nd Degree Burns At Bartow Plant

WHITE, GA -- A patient suffered severe burns to his extremities Tuesday morning at a industrial facility in Bartow County.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services and Cartersville Fire Department responded to the call around 8:03 a.m. July 19 at the Beauflor USA plant along Cass-White Road.

First responders arrived on the scene to find a 28-year-old male with second-degree burns to his left arm and both legs, Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran said.

A medical helicopter was requested to transport the victim to a burn center while crews worked to treat the injuries.

The man was flown to WellStar Cobb Hospital for continued care.
