Man Suffers Partial Amputation in Workplace Accident

White, GA -- A patient has been transported to an area hospital following an industrial accident Monday morning in Bartow County.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident, which occurred at Heritage Pallets at 358 Old Tennessee Highway in White.
Brad Cothran, Bartow EMS spokesperson, said the “male subject got his hand caught in a machine.”

“The crew on the scene found the patient to have a partial amputation of the hand,” he added.
The patient has been transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. Return to Patch for updates.
