Gena was born on Sept. 19, 1962, in Memphis, TN, daughter of Harold Gene Franklin and the late Lee Ann Allen Franklin. Anyone who knew Gena, knew her absolute passion for living life to the fullest. She could always be found with a smile on her face and a kind word or act for anyone around her in need. She made a positive difference with everyone she was surrounded by.

She adored all of her family and friends and lived every day to serve them. Her greatest passion was riding her motorcycle and was very well known in the local community for all of the charity rides that she took part in. When she wasn’t riding her bike, she and her bike could usually be found spending time with her second family at Tom’s Place. She is already missed, but will never be forgotten.
