In Memory: Jamaal Terrell Williams, 32, Devoted Husband and Father

Funeral services for the Cartersville resident were held on Friday.

Jamaal Terrell Williams, 32, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

Funeral service were held on Friday, March 27 at 3 p.m. at the Goodyear (Atco) Club House. The body lied in state at the Club House from 2p.m. until the hour of service. The family will received friends on Thursday, March 26 at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home.

Jamaal Terrell Williams was born to Carzell and Mary Williams in Thomasville, Georgia on June 17, 1982.

Jamaal attended North Atlanta High School. He married Phyllis Thurman on September 28, 2007. He was a devoted husband and father, and was simply loved by all that met him. His favorite pastime was watching football, playing Play Station and spending time with his children. He always liked to have a good time and also enjoyed old school music.

Jamaal is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Bowen, Julice Cousins, and Carzell Williams, Sr.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Phyllis A. Williams; children, Shaqoia Thurman, Destiny Wheeler, Dasia Williams, JaMya Williams, Jamaal Williams, Jr., Lee Womack, Rhaelin Williams, Reon Williams, Ryan Williams, Jason Zelinski, and Corey Zelinski; parents, Carzell and Mary Williams; grandmother, Mable Williams; brothers, Rodricus Cousin (Jessica), and Jonathan Williams; sisters, Jessica Allen (Keith) and Monique Cherry, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
