In Memory: Stephen Jarred Hendricks, Self-Taught Musician

Stephen Jarred Hendricks, age 25, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016.

Stephen was born on Dec. 16, 1990 in Kennesaw, GA, son of Edward "Bubba" Monroe Hendricks, Jr. and Angelia Peacock Hendricks.

Stephen will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and the wonderful ability he had to make everyone around him laugh.

He was a self-taught musician and learned to play the guitar, drums and harmonica by sound alone. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and just recently was able to go out west with his parents to visit Arizona's beautiful landscape.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vicki (George) Yandle and Bernie Peacock, and aunt, Dixie Michelle Yandle.

Survivors include his parents; daughter, Kaitlyn Hendricks; sisters, Brittany (Tommy Costlow) Hendricks and Haley (Brett) Youngken; grandparents, Richard and Cheryl Peacock; aunt, Renee Vazquez; niece, Alaina Youngken; nephew, Thomas Costlow;

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 13th of August, 2016 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for two hours prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.

In memory of how Stephen enjoyed dressing, attendees may wear white shirts and jeans. A special request from Stephen's family is for anyone that may have a token of remembrance in regards to Stephen, please bring them to the visitation and service.
