Motorist Injured in Motorcycle Accident
The accident occurred along Interstate 75 near Exit 306, which is slightly north of Cartersville.
A resident was transported to an area hospital following a motorcycle accident late Friday evening in Bartow County.
The accident occurred Nov. 6 along Interstate 75 near Exit 306. Upon arrival, crews found one patient with “altered level of consciousness and numerous lacerations to the extremities,” said Bartow County Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Brad Cothran.
Cothran added bystanders reported the patient lost consciousness before additional crews could arrive to transport the motorist to the hospital.

The patient was subsequently transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment, Cothran said.
