Police Identify Woman Found Dead In Adairsville
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to help police process the crime scene.
The Adairsville Police Department has released the identity of the woman found dead on Wednesday of an apparent gunshot wound.
The body of Sarah Gonzalez-Padilla, 75, was found in a home on Poplar Springs Road around 10:58 a.m. June 10 after police were dispatched to the location in response to a suicide threat call.
Adairsville police called in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist with the crime scene aspect of the incident.

Police spokesperson Sgt. Michaela LaFrance said detectives are waiting to speak with the GBI’s medical examiner before releasing Gonzalez-Padilla’s official cause of death.
